This policy applies to the Android app “इLAAKA” (also written “ILAAKA”, formerly “MARKD”), package name com.vyanmo.markd, published on Google Play by the developer Mohit Tahiliani — the same app and developer named in the Google Play store listing. Contact: ptahiliani26@gmail.com.

Who we are

ILAAKA is a running app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Contact: ptahiliani26@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account: your name and email (to sign you in and label your runs).
• Location: your GPS trail during a run you start — only while a run is active, only in the foreground. We never track you in the background.
• Photos: any photo/selfie you choose to attach to a run.
• Usage & diagnostics: basic analytics and crash reports to fix bugs and improve the app.

Why we use it

To record your runs, show your route and stats, rank you on leaderboards, power crews and the King-of-Territories game, and display posts you share on the Community Wall.

What we share

Runs, routes, stats, locality names and any photos you attach are visible to other ILAAKA runners on the Community Wall and leaderboards — that's the social point of the app. We do not sell your data. Data is stored securely on Google Firebase (encrypted in transit).

Your controls & data deletion

• Hide live location during runs (Settings).
• Delete your account any time from Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile and sign-in, anonymizes your posts (name and photos removed), and deletes your uploaded photos. You can also request deletion at our account-deletion page or by email.

Children

ILAAKA is not directed at children under 13.

We'll update this page when the policy changes; continued use means acceptance.
